Feeling Safe and Complete With Them

Life is a gift from God. We must treasure every life in this world.  We must protect, improve, and develop our lives. It’s a God-given gift, our lives are precious. As usually heard from others, Life is short, we must do everything we can do during the day. Life is also unfair sometimes. But the only big thing we must always remember about life is that, it’s only one, life is special, life is important. For every circumstance in our lives, we can pass through these things. We are not alone. We all have our families, friends, relatives and even unknown people in our lives that can help us solve our problems. They can be our heroes, or shall I call them, our Modern Heroes.
What really a hero is? For me, a hero is not only those who are saving our lives. Maybe because of simple things they have done, you can call them our heroes. A hero is always there for you, always ready to accompany you, and of course to protect you.
I can consider my family as my modern heroes. I love them even though sometimes, I can’t feel that they love me too. My father, working for us. My mother, giving us what we need and my siblings who are always there for me to make me smile. I also consider my two cousins as my modern day hero because they are beside me whenever I need someone. My cousin Clifford, he always treats me like his sister. He will not let me starving, he always gives me foods. My cousin Candy, she is always willing to help me with my school works. She also gave me ride when I need so and she’s not busy. Another person I consider my hero is Lyka, the best among my best friends. She is always there for me, in times of happiness and also in times of sorrow.  The last person I consider my hero is a kind-hearted tricycle driver. I really don’t know his name. He’s my hero because when we don’t have a ride one day, he offered his tricycle even though our place is far. It was really late, maybe around 7:30 to 8:00. I can’t remember what we did that day. But going back to “kuya” driver, he has a heart of a father. He won’t let us be in danger. At first we asked some of the tricycle drivers but they didn’t want to take us home because according to them, it’s far and too late. But “kuya” driver agreed to take us in our home. He is my savior that day, without him; maybe I’m stacked in the school.
Oh! I’ve written so much. I have lot of modern heroes. I love them and I treasure them so much. God bless them all. Wishing for their wellness and safety. I hope they will always be like what I saw to them.
Everyone can be a hero. We all have the capacity to be a hero. We can do special things to every person we meet. Thanks to our Lord Almighty, my greatest and everyday hero, He gave me and let me know those people.
